A night-shift Plant Supervisor (12-hour shifts) who keeps production, assembly, fabrication, finishing, and maintenance operations running safely and efficiently across the floor. Working alongside process supervisors and the EHS team, this leader maintains operational awareness across every area of the plant, drives safety and quality, and supports the people side of a high-throughput manufacturing environment.

What you’ll own

  • Maintain operational awareness across all plant areas during the shift, ensuring safe and efficient operations across Safety, Productivity, and Quality
  • Partner with process supervisors to manage quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale, driving continuous improvement
  • Support area supervisors with employee issues, attendance, timekeeping, PTO, and fair, consistent policy administration
  • Lead accident investigations for assigned areas, coordinate immediate response to workplace injuries, and enforce all safety policies
  • Facilitate continuous improvement through Kaizen activities, cross-departmental teams, and special projects
  • Follow up on training requirements and partner with the training department on evaluations and process improvements
  • Coordinate with Quality and Production Planning to maintain proper inventory levels and meet customer quality and production demands
  • Perform multiple daily walk-throughs to maintain a strong management presence — PPE, uniform, and policy compliance
  • Follow all Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and support EHS with issues and improvements
  • Support hiring recommendations and employment decisions in conjunction with HR and the Area Manager

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of operations management experience (required); 2+ years in HR/employee relations preferred
  • Associate degree in business, management, or an engineering field, or equivalent manufacturing experience; bachelor's preferred
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong grasp of safety, EHS, and environmental compliance (local, federal, and company standards)
  • Sound judgment and conflict-resolution skills; able to administer progressive discipline fairly and consistently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; comfortable learning workforce-management systems (e.g., UKG)
  • Able to work a 12-hour night shift, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs
